What we do.
At Weave OT, we provide neuroaffirming, trauma-informed and person-centred occupational therapy for adults, and for the families and support networks around them. We work with people living with Autism, ADHD, psychosocial, neurological, cognitive, physical and/or intellectual disabilities, and support them to manage everyday life in ways that feel more workable, meaningful and true to who they are.
Our work is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves care that honours their individual strengths, story and lived experience. We take time to understand each person’s strengths, challenges, routines, relationships, environment and goals - as well as the parts of life that may feel exhausting, confusing, stuck or hard to sustain.
We are guided by evidence-based, culturally responsive and inclusive practice, recognising that there is no single “right” way to live, function or participate. Our goal is to help each person build comfort, capability and meaning in ways that genuinely suit them.
We provide sessions in person within the Greater Geelong region and via telehealth across Australia, adapting our approach to meet each person’s needs, preferences and circumstances.

Supports Include.
We provide support across the many areas that shape daily life - from home routines and self-care, through to study, work, relationships, community involvement and everyday responsibilities.
We are interested in understanding the full picture: what matters to the person, what is working, what feels difficult or unsustainable, and what kinds of routines, environments and supports may help life feel more manageable, meaningful and aligned with who they are.
We focus on areas such as:
● Daily living and independence: developing habits and routines that feel achievable and sustainable.
● Cognitive and executive functioning: supporting organisation, planning, attention, and flexible thinking.
● Emotional regulation, overwhelm and energy management: exploring what helps the person feel more settled, capable and able to participate.
● Sensory processing and environmental fit: identifying changes to routines, environments or supports that may reduce overload and improve comfort, focus and participation.
● Self-understanding, values and identity: supporting people to better understand their own needs, strengths, preferences and patterns, and to make choices that feel more aligned with who they are.
● Community, study and workplace participation: building strategies for communication, structure, pacing, confidence and managing demands.
● Social connection and belonging: supporting relationships, self-advocacy, boundaries and engagement in meaningful activities.
● Support coordination and care team collaboration: working with families, support workers, support coordinators and other professionals where needed, so that support is more consistent and practical in everyday life.
● Physical and environmental access: considering home and community mobility, assistive technology, adaptive equipment or environmental adjustments where relevant.
Our aim is to help each person feel better understood and more supported to participate in life in ways that are authentic, sustainable and aligned with their values.
